All adults pool users must fully comply and maintain a working knowledge of the Pool Safety Requirements and are required to highlight and call out any observed non compliance.

Members who do not comply or cannot demonstrate the expected standard of behaviour will have their pool access suspended and risk their membership being cancelled.

The Pool Safety Operating Procedures (PSOP) was renames to the Pool Safety Requirements to emphasize the procedures are a mandatory requirement for all members. It describes the rules and processes all adult members must comply with to effect the safe operation of the Cottonmill Swimming Pool.

It intergrates the scope of Normal Operating Procedure (NOP), that sets out how the pool operates on a daily basis and the Emergency Action Plan (EAP), that provides specific instructions on the action to be taken if there is an emergency into one document.
