Swimmer Memberships
We offer two types of swimmer memberships for adults who must be competent swimmers and medically fit to swim in cold water. See Membership Categories page for fees and requirements
Adult Cold Water Season Swimmer (ACWS)
Recruitment of new members is subject to change and suspended when water is considered too cold for non aclimatized swimmer.

Cold Water Swimmer members can use the pool from 1st September to 31st May. They are not allowed to swim or use the pool between 1st June and 31st August unless it is a club organised event. They can access the pool deck, and participate in all our social activites and club open-water swimming events.
Adult All Season Swimmer (AASS)
All Season Swimmer membership is for one adult. Unlike the Cold Water membership these members are entitled to use the swimming pool throughout the year. The current quota for All-Season memberships is at capacity and this category of membership is only offered using the lottery system.
Family Membership and pool guests
Our membership categories are for individual members, we do not offer joint or family memberships. The swimming category of membership is restricted to adults for liability reasons and whilst we cannot offer children membership their parent can register them as Junior Pool Guests who can accompany them to the pool in compliance with our rules.
There are no adult pool guests and only members and their registered Junior Pool Guests are allowed poolside.
Junior Pool Guests
We have no swimming memberships for children. The dependent children of members entitled to use the pool can be registered as Junior Pool Guests. The child’s guest status is cancelled when they are 18, and if their parents is an All Season Swimmer member, they may request an offer to join as an Adult All Season Swimmer membership, on the basis their application to join is completed within the 4 weeks of their 18th birthday.
