SASAC – St Albans Sub-Aqua Club

There are two branches of the British Octopush Association (BOA) in St. Albans.

The St Albans Saints Underwater Hockey Club is the branch associated with SASAC whereas the other is St Albans Underwater Hockey Club that competes in adult competions. Both branches train and play in close association and share coaches.

The use the Westminsterlodge underwater hockey sessions on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, is restricted to members who have a concurrent BOA membership with the St Albans Saints Underwater Hockey Club and SASAC.

Underwater Hockey Player Benefits

• Use of our Westminster Lodge sessions on Wednesday and Thursday
• Use of club kit
• Year round access to Cottonmill swimming pool for adult members*

* Members who are adult diver, snorkeller or underwater hockey player category members who are assessed to used this category only to access Cottonmill pool will have the access to the pool revoked until they start participating as diver, snorkeller or UWH player. This is to prevent members using these categories as a means to circumvent the All-Season Swimmer quota.
